Untitled Song

Walking through the grass, it’s greener than it was back then.
Holding my breath because I can’t bare the scent that lingers on.
Trying not to see it, but it’s written in the wind that’s blowing here:
We’re all memories, and nothing else, my dear.

See the children play in water bluer than your eyes.
Sun is shining brighter than the stars up in your skies.
Say that you don’t see it, but it’s written in the wind that’s blowing here:
We’re just memories, and nothing else, my dear.

These are lyrics to a song I started working on in June 2014 and can’t seem to get inspiration to finish them.
